In the winter of 2002, while on a trip to Utah,
photographer Steven Bigler met the then
13 year old beauty Danielle Smith.

At just 13 years old and 5'9",
Bigler saw she was not a typical kid,
but something special.

After maintaining random e-mail contact over the years,
two years later Julie (the mother)
called and said "she's ready"!

She flew to L.A. July 8th '04,
for what was to be a simple and fast 1/2 day of pictures,
and what turned into the beginning of a new and fast career.

The passing of 2 years were more than kind to Dani,
as Bigler and crew were utterly stunned by the strikingly beautiful image of the still only 15 year old 5'10" Danielle Smith walking towards them at the airport!

After shooting dozens of rolls of film, Dani returned
to Utah as Bigler rushed to get film processed.

Over the following days, Bigler, overwhelmed by the images began to e-mail selections to agents the world over for reaction.

Soon he was getting swamped by requests of "who is this beauty?","she is gorgeous", and "when can we have her?"

On July 16th, just 8 days later Dani returned to Los Angeles where she had a week scheduled including 3 magazine editorials, more photo shoots, and meeting with the top agents for photographers such as Phillip Dixon, Jeff Olsen, and Steve Shaw.

With new pictures in hand and overwhelming response, Dani signed with Essbee Management to guide her career through agent, magazine and photographic contacts worldwide.

Essbee generated major interest in Dani worldwide and placed her with the top agency in Sydney, CHIC MANAGEMENT, then aimed her to the top with New York.

After just a few days, on July 25th just 17 days from her first ever pictures, Danielle Smith was headed to New York to meet the top agents that were already eagerly awaiting her.

After just 2 days in New York, Dani was placed with
SUPREME MANAGEMENT.

She was then seen by YM, TEEN VOGUE, SEVENTEEN, SELF, LUCKY, MARIE CLAIRE, COSMO GIRL, RALPH LAUREN, MACY'S, and more.

Dani also went to meet photographers ANTOINE VERGLAS, SANTE D'ORAZIO and agents for MARIO TESTINO.

So after an initial 19 days as a model,
Danielle Smith has been set to the fast track.

With the coming month of fashion shows in New York,
followed by the shows in Milan and Paris,
Dani Smith looks to be a major model in a matter of the next few months.....

Dani is spotlighted to feature the new
Armani line for WWD Magazine.

*October 2004:
Dani comes to L.A. for fashion week, shoots editorial with Steve Shaw for Euroman, Shoots RUSTY SWIMWEAR campaign and does shows for
ASHLEY PAIGE, CESAR DE LA PARRA, NAQADA, IRON, and COCO KLIKS.

*Nov 4, 2004:
Dani moves to Paris......
Dani builds her book and adjusts to living in Paris while meeting and shooting with many photographers.
Dani spends Christmas in Paris with her family!

December 28, 2004, Dani returns to America for holidays with family.

*January 2005:
Dani goes to Miami.

*2006* and forward:
Dani is now out of school and now thriving globally as a working model and becoming better and better every day!
